This award is for if you simply want to know about internal quality assurance without actually wanting to practice as an IQA – for example, if you’re a manager or an assessor who doesn't have access to assessors/learners.

Level 4 Award in the Internal Quality Assurance of Assessment Processes and Practice
This qualification is suitable for those seeking to become an internal quality assurer (IQA) directly involved in the internal quality assurance of assessors and assessment practice. For this reason they must have access to assessors and therefore learners who are currently assessing in an area of their own expertise. On successful completion they will be occupationally competent internal quality assurer.
- Unit 4 - Understanding the Internal Quality Assurance of Assessment Processes and Practice.
- Unit 5 - Internally assure the quality of assessment
Level 4 Certificate in Leading the Internal Quality Assurance of Assessment Processes and Practice
This qualification is suitable for those with experience of working in an internal quality assurance (IQA) role looking to advance their knowledge and skills to progress into a leadership role with responsibility to manage the centre or other internal quality assurers.

Accreditations

You will be required to have access to your own assessors and candidates within a centre and/or workplace, as you will need to assess them to demonstrate that you have successfully learned the criteria.
