This workshop looks at a series of gentle, targeted resistance-based Reformer exercises, focusing on range of movement for the entire shoulder girdle. Other areas of emphasis include establishing mobility, restoring posture, and developing core and peripheral strength to address muscular imbalances created from various types of surgeries.
This is a two-hour workshop.
- Identify different types of breast cancer surgery and the side effects of each.
- Understand how selected STOTT PILATES® Reformer exercises target specific muscle groups to begin rebalancing them.
- Learn how specific modifications will increase effectiveness and safety for individual clients.
- 0.2 Continuing Education Credits (only relevant for STOTT PILATES – 0.6 required per year)
No specific requirements. Open to all Fitness Professionals and Pilates Instructors.
