About this workshop

Challenge both balance and coordination by incorporating a Foam Roller into exercises adapted from both the Matwork and Reformer repertoire. This workshop looks at how the roller targets core stabilisers, cues alignment and challenges strength through the periphery and core. You will discover how to use cues and corrections to maintain safety and effectiveness in all of your workouts.

This is a two hour workshop.

What you will learn

Learn to:

  • Apply STOTT PILATES® principles to exercises using the Foam Roller.
  • Use the Foam Roller to challenge balance, stability and spatial awareness on the mat.
  • Create variety and challenge while focusing on alignment and movement quality.
What you will qualify with

0.2 Continuing Education Credits (only relevant for STOTT PILATES – 0.6 required per year)

What you will need to do this workshop

No specific requirements. Open to all Fitness Professionals and Pilates Instructors.
