You can also attend our free open evenings. You will be able to find out more about the different training routes available to you, the training and support you’ll receive whilst studying, career paths once you’ve qualified and continuing professional development.

Your work is assessed against agreed and published criteria and your achievement is decided by experienced assessors who are qualified in assessing and/or internally verifying in the active leisure sector.

If you don’t agree with your result and you’d like to appeal against the assessment decision, you’d need to do this within 20 days of receiving your results.

Please note that if you’re booking a re-sit or deferred assessment, you’ll be asked to pay the full amount at the time of booking.

If you’d like to push back on a part of your assessment, you just need to let us know at least 4 weeks before the start of your course. You can do this by talking to our course support team by emailing us at ymcafit.studentsupport@ymca.co.uk or by calling us on 020 3994 9550.

If, when booking, your course is only 4 weeks away, you’ll need to decide on deferrals when you book. Unfortunately, you won’t be able to make any changes to your assessments with less than 4 weeks’ notice and if you need to re-book assessments you may have to pay the full fee.

Your digital certificate can be accessed via DC Web. When you complete your course, you will recieve a link to access your digital certificate. Please remember that it can take up to 3 months for your certificate to be issued from the Awarding Body following the necessary quality assurance process.

You can access replacement digital certificates via DC web. You can also purchase hard copy certificates from this platform.

To cancel your booking, you need to contact our course advisors by emailing us at ymcafit.bookings@ymca.co.uk or by calling us on 020 3944 2533.

If you cancel your booking within the 14-day cooling off period (see above) a full refund will be given. If you cancel after 14 days, you may be liable for the full payment.
