With nearly two decades in the fitness industry and over 12 years as a YMCAfit Tutor, Glenn Coburn knows a thing or two about building strong, capable fitness professionals. Whether you’re learning the ropes in a Level 2 Gym course, levelling up as a Personal Trainer, or diving into functional CPDs, chances are you’ll come across Glenn and you’ll be better for it.
“I’ve been in the industry since 2007 and with YMCAfit for 15 years now,” Glenn says. “I teach Level 4 Advanced Nutrition, Level 3 Personal Training, Level 2 Gym Instructing, and several CPDs such as our NEW upcoming Hybrid Fitness and Olympic Lifting courses. But my real sweet spot is Strength and Conditioning.”

And that’s not just talk. Glenn is a Level 4 Strength and Conditioning Coach who’s worked with a wide range of clients—from competitive boxers to aspiring footballers, helping them improve everything from explosive power to maximal aerobic speed. His approach? Fully bespoke, periodised programmes grounded in evidence-based principles, shaped by years of hands-on experience.
