How we support you on the course
On-hand support team
Once your course is booked, our Learning Support team will be here to answer any questions you may have about your next steps. Whether you need help with completing work, submitting work, using the eLearning site or course issues, we are just a phone call away.
For advice about your course, call us on 020 3944 2533 or you can email us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Personal study plan
If part of your course is delivered online, we’ll give you a call at an arranged time when you book, to create a study plan that will keep you on track and to discuss any extra support you may need. On this call your learning support tutor will:
- Agree deadlines for course work (fitting them around any other commitments you may have)
- Help you plan for upcoming assessments
- Check that you’re able to log into the eLearning site
- Take you through the online revision materials and work templates.
Your tutor will email the study plan to you so that you know when your work and assessments need to be completed.
Designated learning support tutor
Whether you need help with a tricky question about coursework or information about your assessment day, you won’t be alone to find out the answer. Your designated tutor will be available to contact by phone or email throughout the entirety of your course.
Revising can be difficult if you don't know the right method to use. That's why we've included our top revision tips on the eLearning website, simply pick up the phone if you're struggling about where to begin, our number is 020 3944 2533 or you can email us at email@example.com.
Adapting the course to your learning needs
Every student should be given the power to succeed on their course, which is why we adapt our programmes to suit your learning needs. Let us know if you have any specific learning requirements that we could provide extra support with and we'll work with you to create a personal support plan. This plan could include:
- Extra time on exams
- Resources being sent early
- Extra sessions with your tutor; and more.
With this extra support, we aim to make you feel that you have every chance to do your best on the course.
Funding your future
As part of a Government-backed initiative, some courses can be funded by the Advanced Learner Loan. This loan provides a flexible way for students over the age of 19 to pay their course fees. This way, you can start your career without worrying about the cost. For more information, visit our Funding page.
