I realised many years ago when I was serving in the Royal Marines that exercise can be very hard and it can be even harder if the conditions outside are hot, really hot. For instance, I remember being in a sweat tent in Iraq for 2 weeks whilst periodically doing exercise in the morning when it was cooler. To say the exercise was uncomfortable is an understatement; however exercising in these conditions is a problem that everyday gym goers to elite athletes have to face from time to time.
