Update 17th July 2020
Following the welcomed news that gyms will re-open from the 25th July, we are excited to announce that we are restarting our courses.
This will be a phased approach and dependant on the opening dates of our host venues.
We have a schedule of courses planned for our London venue, the Central YMCA Club and One KX (Kings Cross), from the 25th July 2020.
We are looking forward to sharing further information, with you, as and when our other venues confirm our return.
The staff at YMCAfit would like to thank our customers for their continued support, patience and understanding and we look forward to welcoming you back when you are ready.
If your course was postponed and you have not yet re-booked for a later date, you can contact our Course Advisors for details of the courses we have scheduled:

Information for new students
If you are thinking of studying with us at YMCAfit, we have a wide range of courses available for you to book. We also have online options for you to start your journey if our face to face option is not yet available in your area or you are not ready to commit to the face to face dates of a course.
We can offer a range of online course modules for:
- Level 3 Diploma in Gym and Personal Training
- Level 3 Diploma in Personal Training (you will need to have a Level 2 Gym Instructor qualification)
- Level 2 Certificate in Gym Instructing
- Level 2 Certificate in Group Exercise to Music
- Level 3 Diploma in Teaching Yoga
- All level 2 online course modules are £99.00
- All level 3 online course modules are £199.00
Our online courses include the online theory content you need to kick start your journey to success.
Please note that a qualification cannot be achieved via the online course alone. All students will be required to attend the face to face course dates when available, to complete their studies and pass all remaining assessments, to achieve the qualification. The face to face course dates focus on the practical elements of the qualification. We will publish our revised schedule of face to face course dates as soon as our venues re-open.
We have distance learning courses available now
- Certificate and Award in Assessing
- Certificate in Internal Quality Assurance (IQA)
Our distance learning courses include a face to face portfolio day where a tutor will guide you on building your portfolio of evidence. The face to face portfolio dates will be published as soon as our venues re-open. Advice and guidance will remain available from our Learning Support Team.
We are currently receiving a much higher volume of calls and emails whilst we support our new and current students. Your patience and understanding will be greatly appreciated if a response is not provided immediately.
