Course delivery update (23rd February 2021)
Following the Government announcement yesterday evening, we are pleased to confirm YMCAfit will be resuming our classroom delivery from the 8th March 2021 in London and Nottingham. We will implement a phased approach as and when our venues re-open in the regional areas. To assist us in managing an increase in enquiries, please wait until we have contacted you, by email, with further details about your course.
We are excited and looking forward to seeing our students return to the classroom. We understand that some students may be concerned about the developments of this pandemic. Providing a safe and secure learning environment for our students and tutors remains a priority and is at the heart of what YMCAfit aims to provide. We have implemented systems of control to create a safer environment for students and staff in line with the Department for Education (DFE) guidelines.
As well as adhering to social distancing measures we will support our students to access lateral flow tests throughout the course. Students can access a new type of coronavirus (COVID-19) test for people who do not have symptoms through their local council. You can find out if your area offers rapid lateral flow test sites here.
All YMCAfit students will be expected to adhere to the protocols, without exception. YMCAfit will not tolerate, under any circumstances, failure to comply with the protocols in place. By working together, we can create an environment where everyone feels safe and respected.
