National Skills Academy

The National Skills Academy for Sport and Active Leisure works with employers to ensure access to the best quality training in skills to improve business performance. They broker solutions for employers to maximise their training investment, via a network of quality assured and leading edge training centres, and distance learning.

YMCAfit is the NSA Centre of Excellence for Physical Activity in London and a NSA Approved Provider for Health and Fitness in London.

YMCA Training

YMCA Training is a national charity that has helped over 21,000 people through training programmes last year. They work with people of all abilities, ages and backgrounds through a broad portfolio of courses.

YMCA Training operate from over 50 community locations nationwide and have a range of courses including: Apprenticeships, Entry to Employment (e2e) Programmes, Adult Key Skills and Job Search Training, Programmes for Schools and Specialist Programmes.

 

Montgomery Leisure Service (MLS)

MLS was established in 1990, and is one of the country's largest sports consultancies. Working throughout the UK and internationally, the company are experts in event and project management ranging from professional multi-sport events to community participation events and are leaders in Sports and Disability Consultancy.

YMCAfit is the main delivery partner of Montgomery Leisure Services on the hugely successful Inclusive Fitness Initiative project that supports the fitness industry to become more inclusive, catering for the needs of disabled and non-disabled people alike.

London Councils 

The London Councils programme supports the London ESF priority to improve employability and skills in the capital with specific focus on providing greater employment opportunities to excluded individuals in the community. The funding programme addresses gaps in London funding, delivering programmes to meet the needs of target groups who are not currently reached through existing external programmes.

YMCAfit is the lead partner on the London Councils/European Social Fund ‘Engaging Black and Minority Ethnic Women in Employment Opportunities in the Health and Fitness Sector’ project.
