What are the course formats?

All our courses run during the daytime, during the hours of 9am and 6pm. The formats depend largely on the course you choose to take. You can study the YMCA Gym Instructor and YMCA Studio Instructor in 3 ways. Blended learning, intensively over a 3 week period with a week off in the middle or weekends and Fridays. Choosing the correct format depends largely on your individual learning style and available free time to study.

My company is paying for me via invoice. How can I arrange this?

You can download the purchase order (P.O) coversheet from the corporate section of our website. Your employer or person providing the funding will then need to fill this in on their headed paper to say they agree to pay for you and to abide by our terms and conditions. You can also call one of our student advisors who can email a form over to you.

Once the P.O. sheet is completed this would need to be faxed back to us with a completed application form to 0207 436 1278 or through the post to our head office. We will then book you onto the course and arrange an invoice to be sent to your employer.

What is the difference between Central YMCA Qualifications and YMCA Fitness Industry Training?

YMCA Fitness Industry Training is the training provider, and Central YMCA Qualifications (CYQ) is the awarding body for our courses, so the certificates that you receive will be from CYQ, but note that not all of our courses have CYQ certificates.
