Developed in conjunction with leading indoor cycling specialists Keiser, this exhilarating module, will give you the essential knowledge to deliver basic, fun and effective studio cycling classes.
Learn to…
- Identify the correct set-up and posture and identify the health and safety issues which are involved when using the equipment in its environment
- Teach cycling techniques, cycling profiles and drills
- Plan, structure and deliver a class
- Employ cycle-specific teaching skills
- Identify how music enhances the experience
Prerequisites
- Level 2 Aqua, ETM, Gym or Kids' Instructor
- Attendance of indoor cycling classes
- Teaching experience recommended
Format
- 1 day face-to-face learning (a mixture of theory and practical)
Assessment
- No formal assessment, however full course participation is required to receive certification
