    The knee is a complex structure which can experience any number of injuries or conditions that interrupt normal functioning.

    This workshop explores the anatomy and biomechanics involved in the normal healthy functioning of the knee, some of the dysfunctions that can occur and exercise progressions to restore normal movements. After looking at the available movements and functioning of the knee, common abnormal or dysfunctional movement patterns will be addressed.

    This innovative and upbeat Mat-based workshop features small pieces of equipment, including the Flex-Band® exerciser, Fitness Circle® resistance ring and Toning Balls™. You will learn to create a full-body workout that focuses on strength and agility. Explore new alternatives to standard exercises with the added peripheral resistance of all three props.

  • STOTT PILATES Workshop Postnatal Pilates

    Most women will be able to return to exercise 4-6 weeks after a regular birth or when they get clearance from their physician. Many of the exercises they may have been performing during the second and third trimester of pregnancy will be suitable now, but other exercises can be added to focus on reactivating and stabilizing the pelvic floor, transversus abdominis and obliques as well as developing lumbo-pelvic stability.

    This gentle but effective workout will incorporate Toning Balls™ to get mothers back on the right track.
