Designed for managers, studio coordinators, programme managers and senior instructors, this course will show you how to assess instructors to National Occupational Standards in the workplace, help raise standards in the fitness industry and develop your career.

• Assess instructors to National Occupational Standards in either gym or ETM instruction
• Apply the principles and process of assessment
• Understand National Occupational Standards
• Complete assessment paperwork for either gym or studio instruction
• Raise the quality of fitness instruction and customer care given to clients within your workplace

Prerequisites

• Level 2 Aqua, ETM, Gym or Kids' Instructor
• At least 3 years teaching experience (gym or studio disciplines)

• 2 days face-to-face learning (theory based)

• Worksheets
• Observed assessment of a practical session

• CYQ Assessing in the Active Leisure Sector
