About Workout at home
Workout at home was launched in 2008 with just four personal trainers in South Wales. After spending two years developing the brand, with an emphasis on perfecting the online support systems for both personal trainers and clients, we launched nationally in October 2010. We provide a highly professional service where our trainers deliver bespoke training sessions in the comfort of their client’s home, or outdoors in the local park. We are continuing to grow and with more than 400 high calibre personal trainers already on board, we are looking to expand further by employing more male and female personal trainers across the UK.

Career opportunities
We provide freelance personal trainers with the opportunity to operate as exclusive licensees of the Workout at home brand. It is exclusive because we only recruit one male and one female trainer in each territory. Our support system includes a home fitness training system to enable you to design training programmes, nutritional support, client management tools and our marketing suite to help you develop your own business.

Ideal candidates
We are looking for the best personal trainers throughout the UK. Our minimum requirement is a level 3 qualification with the appropriate insurance, an emergency first aid certificate and preferably a car. We are interested in candidates who have the enthusiasm and energy to build a successful business. You will be chosen to represent your area because you have a passion for helping people achieve their fitness goals and you will be an expert in addressing their lifestyle issues giving them the motivation to improve their sense of well-being. Your key skill will be your positive interpersonal style and if we like you, we are sure our clients will.

Can I have more than one territory?
Our license is exclusive in that we only have one female and one male personal trainer allocated to each area which means you will not be competing against other PTs for clients. We offer the opportunity for you to have multiple territories, enabling you to grow your business and build a team of personal trainers working for you.

Can I join workout at home if I am in a full time job?
Our 400 personal trainers have a range of backgrounds. Some have full time or part time jobs in the fitness industry and others in unrelated areas, while many rely solely on Workout at home for their income. We are happy to support all trainers, whether they are looking to operate as a freelance personal trainer part time or full time.
