Love London Fitness operates out of our London Fields fitness studio in East London, but extensively we work across dozens of parks throughout the capital including Victoria Park, St James’ Park and Primrose Hill. We offer a mixture of individual sessions and group teaching.
We are recruiting a mixture of personal trainers and class instructors to work across our London venues. As an employee, you benefit by working for a company that is run by personal trainers for personal trainers. We help to supply our trainers with clients and will give you all of the necessary practical and marketing skills to be successful. As an employee with Love London Fitness you should be prepared to put in the hours and miles to market yourself and the business.
The skills required to be effective in the fitness industry are varied dependant on the role. To have an outgoing personality is important for any role. To be an effective exercise to music instructor you must be engaging and have the skill to make people want to come back to your class. Personal trainers need to make the client feel as though they are your only client of the day. This is a skill in itself as often you will be fatigued but you need to have the same energy levels for every client because they are all paying the same amount.
What makes a great CV?
It should be well presented and ordered in a logical way. It is vital to have good qualifications, as this is a requirement for gaining insurance and it also puts you in a much better position to provide a great session.
What advice can you give for a mature level 2 instructor looking to enter the industry?
To go for it as you will be in demand. The demand for instructors is greater for level 3 instructors, but age should definitely not create any barriers.
