Body image report launched

As you may have seen in the media, today sees the launch of the report from the All Party Parliamentary Group (APPG) on Body Image. Central YMCA Chief Executive Rosi Prescott and Head of PR and Public Affairs Duncan Stephenson have appeared on Daybreak, ITN and BBC News to discuss the issues raised by the report. Central YMCA is the the secretariat to the APPG and parent charity of YMCAfit.

Between November 2011 and February 2012 the APPG on Body Image conducted a wide-ranging inquiry into the causes and consequences of body image anxiety. The report captures the evidence that was presented to the inquiry – including the evidence sessions held in Parliament, the responses to the public consultation and a number of briefings and academic papers.
